Conservative Bible scholars identify between 300 to 365 Old Testament prophecies that Jesus Christ fulfilled, spanning predictions about his birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection. Here are some key examples with their Old and New Testament references. Not surprisingly, there is no fully-agreed-on list of messianic prophecies - so many scholars, so many lists!
This list represents most prophecies recognized by most conservative evangelical scholars. Some references may overlap in meaning while maintaining distinct prophetic elements. Cross-references show primary fulfillment passages, though many prophecies have multiple New Testament citations.
Sometimes the prophecy might seem difficult to understand, and there might be disagreement whether certain passages "qualifies" as a prophecy - please read the Scriptures provided and decide for yourself.

PROBABILITIES & RELIABILITY
Mathematical Probability: According to mathematician Peter Stoner's analysis in "Science Speaks," the probability of one person accidentally fulfilling just 8 of these prophecies is 1 in 10¹⁷ (1 followed by 17 zeros). This is equivalent to covering Texas with silver dollars 2 feet deep, marking one, and having a blindfolded person pick the marked coin on their first try. The probability of fulfilling all major Messianic prophecies is essentially zero without divine orchestration.
Historical Reliability: These prophecies were written centuries before Christ's birth (some over 1,000 years prior), as confirmed by archaeological evidence including the Dead Sea Scrolls. The fulfillments are recorded by multiple independent sources in the New Testament, many of which were written by eyewitnesses or contemporaries of the events.
